Black Hempwood
This guitar is one of my more experimental guitars.
Many parts of this guitar are made out of a material called ‘hempwood’. Hempwood is a wood made out of hemp stems that are pressed and glued together to form a wood-like material. The result is a very dense, stunning looking material that has similar properties than oak.
And the most astonishing thing about this material is, that it seems to make great guitars. The sound is very differentiated and distinct. the Notes across the fretboard sound very harmonic and eaven.
A very positive experiment.
